and better understand complex medical problems. This technological
development has enabled researchers to provide increasingly
advanced services, including Computer Assisted Radiology,
Telemedicine, Robotized Teleoperating Systems, etc.
In recent years, research in Computer Applications applied to
Health Care has dramatically intensified. The Mini-Symposium
"Computer Applications in Biomedicine, Health Care and Medicine"
within the context of the ISA' 04 aims to provide a platform for
researchers to present and discuss recent breakthroughs in these
areas.
Major topics of interest include the following in the context of
Biomedicine, Health Care and Medicine. This is not an exhaustive
list:
* Programming Methodologies in Applications for Health Care,
Biomedicine and Medicine
* Computer Applications for Medical Imaging and Biomedical Image
Analysis
* Computer Applications for Medical and Biomedical Signal Processing
* Computer Applications for Telemedicine and Telecare Applications
